Welcome to The Reiki Room Training Academy
Our story begins over 30 years ago when i, Sean, met Julie in a bar in Newcastle under Lyme and as they say, the rest is history.
Both of us were caught up in the world and the life that school and society had led us to believe was the way it should be, How wrong were they!
From that moment we knew that there was a different way for us both but how do we do it1 was always the stumbling point as there were hardly any holistic training events, online didn't really exist and we really had nowhere to turn or ask for help.
Fast forward 0ver 30 years and here we are, our path opened, just as we feel yours can and will.
And so after all these years of practice in the pursuit of healing, peace and harmony for others we found it was time to pass our wisdom on to others so that the work can continue years after we have moved on, and so here we are, The Reiki Room Training Centre.

Our Courses
As our name would suggest the practice of Usui Reiki has been with us since day 1, with Julie having been trained and practicing since 1995, becoming a teacher some 8 years later.
In this time she has taught 100s of students many of whom have gone on to practice successfully themselves and also become teachers. There can never be enough positive energy in the world.
And so it began. As our own holistic pursuits continued we became practiced in many healing modalities and more and more students came asking for us to teach and help them on their own journey.
To this day we have 9 courses accredited with a further 2 in the research and writing phase.
